By default, ‘My Font’ list for all users is comprised of 17 fonts. Those are the common fonts that you can see from other word processing software like Microsoft Word or OpenOffice. If you are bored of those and wish to add more, you can do so by following the steps below. There are some fonts available on Microsoft Word which aren’t available on Google Docs. Step 6: Click the font you wish to add. When you click on a font, it will be added to ‘ My Fonts‘ automatically.
If you want to remove a font from My fonts list, click X mark beside it. Step 7: Click OK once you’re done. You can check the newly added fonts by clicking the fonts list in the formatting toolbar. Those are highlighted so you’ll know what you’ve just added. Currently, it’s not possible to upload a custom font from other website to Google Docs.
